Today is the last day of lessons for our Year 11 pupils, and, as usual, pranks have been pulled, tears have been shed, uniforms have been destroyed beyond recognition and goodbyes have been said. And someone parked a tractor in the head’s parking space.
Staff were greeted upon their arrival this morning by a show of hands. Literally:
Unfortunately, the excitement of the day has been tainted somewhat by a disturbing occurrence in Lab 41. Mr Yassin turned up to his classroom to find the door taped shut, and, upon finally gaining entry, found his desk, computer, whiteboard and chair all vandalised with tape and clingfilm.
Clearly shocked, Mr Yassin made this statement:
I was shocked and disgusted at the appalling attack on an innocent teacher that took place this morning. The desecration of my chemistry laboratory was seen as a personal insult and forced me to reconsider teaching as a profession. In addition to this, the theft of my beloved work laptop and ransoming of it, has left me in quite a state and I am talking to the police at the moment about the possibility of legal action and ASBO’s for the perpetrators.
